How to change the category on your facebook business page

Facebook keeps changing our category on our business page

So if you are like us you may have found this page because Facebook keeps on changing the category on your Facebook business page. They keep changing our category from "Screen Printing and Embroidery" to "Advertising and Marketing".

We provide T-shirt printing with Dtg printing services being our most popular but unfortunately, there is no category for that. I have read other peoples horror stories with them changing their business category to something like a dating site. That can be detrimental to one's business. If you didn't know the category plays a big factor in getting your Facebook page on the front page of google. So this is something that you will want to at least check to make sure yours is correct. 

If you are anything like me you probably went to your settings thinking that you would be able to change it back there. Facebook changes it so much I believe there use to be a place there that you could change it but it's no longer there. So now I will tell you how to do it.

How to change the category on your Facebook business page?

Step 1: on the left-hand side you will see the About us section. Click it

Step 2: Below you will see the option for the category. Click edit and change.

Step 3: Your DONE
