What Happened on groundhog day?

This year Phil the Groundhog did not see his shadow. What this means is that his prediction we are going to have an early spring. That is great news for us because we are ready to start pumping out all your custom t-shirt ideas. I would not recommend throwing all your winter gear out yet. In the last 10 years, Phil's predictions have not been that great. So if you are still in need of custom hoodies we can still print them for you.

How old is Punxsutawney Phil the Ground Hog?

According to the Inner Circle of the Groundhog Club in Punxsutawney, Phil is 132 years old. Although this may be physically impossible because most groundhogs don't live past the age of 8yrs.

Where did the Tradition come from?

Groundhog day came from German settlers that arrived in the 1700s. They believed that if the groundhog appeared and seen his shadow there would be 6 more weeks of bad weather. Or a second winter.
